The mention of author Paul Sheldon was a nice touch.įinally we had “The Sun Dog”. ![]() I couldn’t seem to care about the protagonist, Sam Peebles, and found the story generally a little weak although it did improve towards the end. “The Library Policeman” was my least favourite of the four stories. Probably my third favourite of the set I liked the plot and the supernatural element in this one but having read it immediately after “The Dark Half” I could see similarities in the end. This reminded me a lot of “The Dark Half” and had a couple of bits set in Derry, which was nice. I will put the film on my to watch list I think as it would be interesting to see how they’ve done it. ![]() “Secret Window, Secret Garden” was made into a film with Johnny Depp as the protagonist, Mort Rainey. I didn’t spot any links to other King books, although feel free to correct me in the comments if I missed one. This is the most stand alone of the four novellas as well. I loved the characters, especially Dinah, and I loved the plot. Pilot, Brian Engle, is one of the passengers on board a flight to Boston that goes very awry.
